Loyal wife, loving mother, sister, daughter and cherished friend, Yadira L. Zermeno, age 45, passed away unexpectedly alongside her husband on July 7, 2024. She was born in Houston, Texas to her mother Blanca A. Moreno on May 5, 1979. She graduated from Incarnate Word Academy and continued her education at The University of St. Thomas where she studied Business Administration. She met her husband Daniel W. Zermeno in 1996 and together they had two children: a son Adriel W. Zermeno in 2003 and a daughter Ailis D. Zermeno in 2005. Yadira was a loving mother to Adriel and Ailis, her whole world. She always said their birth fulfilled her life and her children always felt her unconditional love and support. She changed her career to Education, in order to spend more time with her family. She had a lifelong passion for helping everyone, especially children and always advocated for her students' education.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, TX 77089. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 17, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Drive, Friendswood, TX 77546. The Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7801 Gulf Freeway, Dickinson, TX 77539.

The Celebration of Life Reception will follow at Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Drive, Friendswood, TX 77546.
