Winnie departed this world on the 27th of February 2024, in a tragic accident, in Houston Texas. Born into this life on the 30th of March 1952, Winnies 71 years among us were a testament to a life spent being a wonderful mother, a loving friend, a reliable shoulder to cry on, a support to lean on and a devout member of the church with an unwavering commitment to the path of righteousness.

Winnie is survived by her daughter Gwendoline McMurray, son Clint Seldow, son Kirby Seldow, son-in-law Robert McMurray, daughter-in-law Denise Seldow, Audie Seldow, Cheryl Dsouza, Harold Seldow and her 5 grandchildren Tristane McMurray, Chad McMurray, Kaitlyn McMurray, Isaac McMurray, and Deacon Seldow. Sister-in-law Rita York, extended family Shelana & Frank Jiminez, Lilliana & Joyce Jiminez, Roy and Kelly Rockley, Brittney Wodles, Jeremiah and Joshua Seldow.

Winnie raised 3 beautiful children, who are a living testament to her strength, determination, kindness, love and bravery. Her love and kindness had no bounds.

She had a passion for cooking and baking. She cooked beautiful and delicious meals for the family. She enjoyed baking delicious delights and would take immense joy in baking cakes for family and friends for their birthdays and special occasions. You could taste the love in every bite.

Winnie loved gardening and was blessed with a green thumb. She loved her roses. Whatever she put her hand to would flourish beautifully.

Winnie was passionate about the lord. She read the word religiously and applied it to every facet of her life. She praised the lord for all her blessings and never questioned his actions. She believed in the mercy of the lord whole heartedly. She loved to worship and sing the lords praises. She held her prayer family close to her heart and enjoyed the countless hours she spent with them. They were a source of strength for her, by her side anytime she needed them, and there for them if she was needed.

Winnie's passing has left an aching in our hearts that will never be filled. We did not get to say our final goodbyes, or I love you one final time. We will, however say, till we meet again, as we know, she will be in heaven, with all the angels, there with open arms to welcome us.

Winnie was a rare gift from our lord, a treasure we hold near and dear to us. Those who have been privileged to be touched by her love, kindness and generosity, will know.
