Virginia Pearl Rhoads went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the age of 89.

Virginia was born to Houston Cammack and Edna Cammack in Houston, Texas on February 16, 1934.  She was married to the love of her life Norman Rhoads for 55 years before he passed away on January 1, 2007.  They had two children, Malon Rhoads and Laura Bussey.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, Virginia was a gifted artist.  Virginia is survived by her children Malon Rhoads and wife Carroll, Laura Bussey and husband Thomas; grandchildren: Adam Rhoads and wife Ashley, Alyssa Sullivan and husband Sean, Lindsey Harkrider and husband John, Jake Bussey and wife Meagan.  She also leaves behind great grandchildren Carmella Puccetti, Hunter Harkrider, Harrison Harkrider, Levi Bussey and Aubrey Bussey.

A Celebration of Virginia's life will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., the service to follow at 11:00 a.m.  Both will take place at Life Community Church, 9529 W. Fairmont, LaPorte, Texas 77571. Immediately following she will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505.
