With heavy hearts, we announce that Troy Mauldin has gone home to be with his Savior on September 3, 2021 at 2:45 p.m. He was born on November 21, 1959 to his parents Lavoy and Gladys Mauldin in Odessa, TX. We are blessed to have him for 61 years because he was known to many as a dedicated husband, committed father, loving grandfather, honorable son, devoted brother, loyal friend, dependable son-in-law, solid UPS employee, and mentor to many. He held his family in high regard and very close to his heart. He would do anything for a friend.

Troy was a proud Friendswood Mustang, class of 1978, after moving to Friendswood from Odessa Permian. In high school, his charismatic personality and pronounced athleticism in all sports showcased his ability to fit in anywhere. After high school, he attended Alvin Community College and graduated with an Associate's degree in Business Management. After college, he started his career as an expediter with Continental Emsco and worked his way up to top management. In 1986, he transitioned into the UPS world as a delivery driver. Because of his love for people, he routinely turned down management positions to connect with his customers and be available for his family. Troy valued the brotherhood of the drivers so much that he considered them his second family. He took safe driving seriously and earned his 30 year Badge of Honor in 2016.

Troy was the ultimate outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, dog training, and sitting in his UT man cave. Weekends spent fishing in the bass club helped fill his desire for camaraderie and competitiveness. He loved supporting his children and grandchildren at their events and programs. As part of supporting his children, he took on the responsibility with Lois to coordinate Pearland Project Graduation for 10 years. He was a faithful member of CT Church for 18 years.

Troy is survived by his wife, Lois Mauldin; his son, Blake Mauldin; his daughter, Tiffany Lynn Mauldin Hurley; his daughter-in-law, Ana Mauldin; his son-in-law, Randy Hurley; his grandchildren, Matthew, Eliana, Samuel, and William Mauldin. He is also survived by his brother, Curtis Mauldin; his sister, Regina Mauldin Clark; his sister-in-law, Louise Mauldin; his brother-in-law, Ty Clark; his father-in-law, James Lowie; and his mother-in-law Sharon Lowie. In addition, he is survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephew, great-niece, aunt, numerous cousins, extended family on his wife's side, friends, his beloved Lab, Belle and his grand-dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lavoy and Gladys; his grandparents; his uncles and his aunts.

Celebration of Life begins with a viewing at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, September, 10, 2021 at CT Church, 9701 Almeda Genoa, Houston. The service begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. where we will celebrate Troy's life in true party fashion just as he would want.
