Trinidad Ortiz Jr., a glass salesman and long time resident of Houston, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on March 14th, 2022 at the age of 64.

Trinidad is remembered lovingly by his father, Trinidad Ortiz Sr. and stepmom Doris; his wife, Brenda Ortiz; his former spouse Shellie Crow, daughter Lacey Gonzales, her husband Jesse Gonzales, and their children Desiree and Jay; son Trinidad Ortiz III, his wife Lindsey Ortiz, and their children Georgia and Nicholas; siblings Telma Trevino, Oliverio Ortiz, Alicia Landwehr, Anabel Ortiz, Ernesto Ortiz, Darren Justin Ortiz and Julio Castillo; and many cousins and nieces and nephews.

Trinidad is preceded in death by his mother Estela Ortiz and his brother Erasmo Crepin Ortiz.

A 1975 graduate of Dobie High School, Trinidad was an active member of Sagemont Church where he played trumpet in the orchestra. A musician throughout his life, he could often be heard playing trumpet in the stands at Dobie and Southbelt Dolphin football games, and annually in the South Belt Fourth of July parade. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm., Tuesday, April 26th at Sagemont Church.
