Travis Michael Terrell, age 56, of Manvel, Texas died on September 4th, 2021, after battling Covid 19.

Travis was born to Mike and Glenda Terrell on October 20th, 1964, in Lufkin, Texas. Travis graduated from Klein High School, Klein, Texas in 1983. He attended Houston Baptist University where he completed three years towards a BA in Christianity and Music. He then attended Universal Technical Institute in Houston, Texas, where he completed an Automotive Technician Certification.

Travis met the love of his life, Kathy (Wells) Terrell, while attending Houston Baptist University in the Fall of 1983. Travis and Kathy were married June 13th , 1987, at Northwest Memorial Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. They had two children, Victoria Lynn (Terrell) Williams born in 1992 and Travis Morgan Terrell born in 1994.

Travis' passion for Christ and music led him to join the Men of Praise Southern Gospel Double Quartet Ensemble. Travis was a member of Men of Praise from 2004, until his death in 2021.

Travis was a distributor for Snap-on Tools from 2003 until his death on September 4th, 2021.

Travis is survived by his wife of over 34 years, Kathy Terrell; a daughter, Victoria Terrell Williams, Son-in-Law, Johnny Williams, and Grandson, Jermaine Williams; and a son, Morgan Terrell. He is also survived by his parents Mike and Glenda Terrell; sister, Erma Terrell Webb, Brother-in-Law, Jerry Webb, niece, Tahndie Webb Price, Nephew-in-Law, Cody Price and great nephew Camden Price.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" (2 Timothy 4:7)

Travis was loved by many and will be deeply missed. His caring heart and faith filled walk is a true testament of Christ's love for us. His smile and laughter was contagious and would fill others hearts with joy. While Travis' voice can no longer be heard on earth, his voice fills the heavens as he praises his one true King for eternity. He is truly "Singin' With the Saints".

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Sunday, September 12, at 2:00pm at Heights Baptist Church in Alvin.
