We're sad to share this news from the family of Thomas Clayton Brown IV. With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Clay, who left this world on February 16 at the age of 26.

Clay was born on June 17, 1999, in Houston, Texas, to Clayton and Sheri Brown. From the very beginning, he brought light, laughter, and an unmistakable energy to every room he entered. He had the most incredible smile and an amazing way of engaging in conversation. Clay loved Jesus. His love for the Lord was strong and unwavering, and it was important to him that people knew the hope of Jesus Christ and the gift of salvation. He had a special way of sharing the Gospel and his knowledge of the Bible with friends, family, and even strangers.

To his family, he was more than just a brother — he was a protector, a best friend, the one who could make you laugh even on the hardest days. He had a way of teasing you one minute and standing up for you the next. His presence was steady and unforgettable. He was full of joy, with the heart of a servant — a gentle soul and a quiet warrior who would do anything to help his neighbor.

Clay loved basketball, fishing, and spreading the Gospel. He found joy in the simple things — late-night talks, inside jokes, family gatherings, and time with friends. Those who knew him will remember his humor, his stubbornness, his kindness, and his gentleness.

Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made will last forever. His love lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will be carried in stories, laughter, and quiet moments of remembrance.

He is survived by his loving parents, Clayton and Sheri; his devoted sisters, Katie and Callie; his Mimi; aunts, uncles, cousins; and countless friends who loved him deeply.

The celebration of life was held February 26, 2026.
