We celebrate the life of Therese Lynne Rios, 60, of Houston, Texas; born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to the late Bert Murphy and Joyce Anne Blalock-Murphy on January 18, 1963.

Therese was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.  She devoted her life to her family.  Therese is loved for her compassion and caring spirit and will be greatly missed.  She spent much of her life living in South Houston, Texas with her husband, Rodolfo (Rudy) Rios.  She cared for her brother, Bert Murphy (Duke) and was never known to turn away any who needed help.

Therese is survived by her husband, Rudy Rios; her daughter, Amber Hernandez, son-in-law, Jonathan Gonzalez and three grandchildren: Isaiah, Gabriella and Isabella. She is also survived by brothers: Thomas Murphy and Duke Murphy.
