Theresa Julia (Iubatti) Parker, 88, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. Theresa was bornon January 9, 1933 to Vincenzo and Anna (Faraone) Iubatti, in Canon City, Colorado. Theresa was proud of her parents who immigrated from Italy and of her Italian heritage. She had wonderful childhood memories growing up on the family farm with her brothers and sisters. She graduated from Canon City High School in 1951 and moved to San Francisco, California in 1952. There Theresa met and married thelove of her life, Elvin. Togetherthey had five children, Buddy, Sherry, Karen, Cindy, and Randy.Theresa loved being a mother.

Theresa enjoyed cooking, bicycle riding, walking, gardening, feeding the wild birds, reading, and traveling. She volunteered at the Children's Museum of Houston for many years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 68 years, Elvin;her children, Buddy (Kim), Sherry (Gary), Karen (James), Cindy (Wally), and Randy; her grandchildren, Erica, Jim, Natalie, Ryan, Kyle and Rosie; her seven great-grandchildren; her two brothers,Jimmy and Jeffrey; and manynieces and nephews.She was precededin death by her parents, her grandson Beau, and her sisters, Florence and Rosie.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew her.

Due to Covid there will be a private family viewing at Peevey Funeral Home and a graveside service at Houston National Cemetery on Monday, November 1, 2021. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
