Tanya Colleen Horak "priceless lady", 40, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023. Tanya was born on September 11, 1982 in Houston by her mother, Karen Asher, and father, Mark Horak. She was raised by her mother and step-father, Richard Hamill, in Houston; alongside her brother Keith.

Tanya graduated from Dobie High School in 2001 then went on to work as an Invoice Specialist for United Rental for the past several years. Tanya enjoyed trips to the beach, listening to music, and indulging in some good-ole Texas BBQ. She loved animals and even volunteered as a foster for the Pasadena Animal Shelter. Tanya was a very patriotic and loved the military and police officers.

In May of 2019 she met Kevin Hare and after a couple years she gave birth to her daughter Lacey who was her pride and joy that she loved very dearly.

Tanya is survived by her beloved mother, Karen Asher, and her daughter, Lacey Hare (who is under the care of Kevin Hare); siblings, Amy (Chris) Molandes, Britton (Monica) McKey and Keith (Courtney)Hamill; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089, Friday, February 10, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with the Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
