Suzan Lucette Ham, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 18, 2026. She was born on September 18, 1952, in Dumas, Texas, to George and Loretta Ham.

Suzan married her first husband, Michael Michalec, in 1972. They began their life together in Pasadena, Texas, and were blessed with two sons, Brandon and Christopher. The family later moved to Kerrville, Texas, where they lived until Suzan's divorce in 1981. She then returned to Pasadena.

Suzan devoted much of her adult life to working with State Farm Insurance, including time spent working alongside her father. She was especially grateful for the years she worked with Scott Loomis. After retiring, she moved around for a time but eventually returned to Pasadena to care for her father until his passing in 2022. She cherished life's simple joys—listening to music, watching sports, riding motorcycles, and playing cards or dominos with family. In recent years, she fondly recalled playing dominos with her father and with her nephew Dustin and his wife Jami.

Above all, Suzan loved her family and friends deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Edith; and her brother, Steve.

Suzan is survived by her sons and their wives, Christopher and Tammie Michalec, Brandon and Ruth Michalec; her grandchildren, Maxwell and Melody Michalec; her nephew, Dustin Ham and his wife Jami; her niece, Kristin Farr; and her beloved dog, Bella. She also leaves behind extended family members and many dear friends who will miss her greatly.

The family will receive friends at Peevey Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1:30pm until 2:00pm, with the service to follow at 2:00pm.
