Stan Jones went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on the morning of February 27th 2023 at the age of 74 years old. He was the oldest son of 2, brother Eddie Jones, born to parents Warren and Wyetta Jones of Wewoka Oklahoma.

Stan was born in Northampton Massachusetts on September 19th 1948. Stan attended Wewoka High School in Oklahoma and graduated in 1966. Stan was Baptized on the 15th day of December 1957 at First Baptist church of Wewoka Oklahoma.

While attending school, time was spent working on his father's cattle ranch and playing bass guitar in a band and tuba in his high school band. Stanley attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater Oklahoma Graduating with an Agriculture and Mechanical Engineering degree.

Stan married Betty Morgan January 2nd of 1969 and had one son Kerry, born in 1974. Stan and Betty moved to Fort Worth and later Pearland Texas in 1975. Stan became a registered Professional Engineer and obtained a certificate of certified Safety Professional management. When Stan wasn't working, he enjoyed playing upright bass in Bluegrass bands and festivals.

The Funeral will be at Peevey Funeral Home Thursday, March 9th at 6:30pm., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Little Cemetery in Seminole Oklahoma.
