Sondra Summerlin Huddleston, 56, of Kemah, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Berlin, Vermont, on April 14, 1969, to Frankie and Betty Summerlin, Sondra's warm spirit and infectious laughter touched all who knew her. She was a devoted Christian and lived her faith through acts of kindness and an enduring positive spirit.

Sondra grew up in and around central Texas, forming lifelong bonds during her time at Milano High School. A natural entrepreneur, Sondra pursued her passion for beauty and opened her own successful Nail Shop in Rockdale, Texas.

Later, Sondra transitioned her career, working as a dedicated realtor and lending her time and talents to the Pearland Neighborhood Center, a vital local nonprofit organization in Pearland, Texas.

Sondra and James were married on December 17, 2002. Together, they built a beautiful life, seamlessly blending their existing families into one loving home. Throughout her husband's career in the U.S. Coast Guard, Sondra was his unwavering pillar of support, following him and building a home wherever duty called. Her dedication and significant contributions to the Coast Guard community were recognized when she was honorarily named a Senior Chief—a rank she proudly held one grade above her husband.

Sondra approached her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother with unwavering dedication, ensuring everyone felt cherished and valued.

Sondra will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, James Huddleston; her children, Brittany Lichnerowicz, Savana Peters, Tyler Huddleston, Kandace Zoeller, Madison Huddleston and Zachary Zoeller; her adoring grandchildren, Kinsley Springer, Jordan Trujillo, Juliette Peters, Vivian Lichnerowicz, Kennedy Trujillo, Aubrey Trujillo and Presley Leija; her siblings, Frankie Summerlin, Kevin Summerlin, Brandi Summerlin and Heath Summerlin; and a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on December 27, 2025, at 12:00 pm, at the Triplett Ranch, located at 2205 County Road 412, Lexington, TX 78947; the ranch is located at the dead end of CR 2205.
