Sean Kitchens, 54, passed away November 6, 2024, at his home in League City, TX. He was born April 3, 1970, in Pasadena, TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Elkwood Kitchens and his mother, Helen Jeannine Williams, his brother, Terry Jo Kitchens, and his sister, Deborah Ann Brennan.

He graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1988 before attending college and obtaining an auto mechanic degree, which he obviously didn't put to use. After much prodding from his parents, he finally joined the police academy at Alvin Community College and started a lifelong career in law enforcement. He started out as a jailer for League City Police Department and was a reserve officer for Dickinson Police Department before joining his final LEO family at Harris County Precinct 8, where he worked 29 years until his passing.

In his spare time, he enjoyed cruising, boating, Jeeping, harassing his children, but most importantly, loving and spending time with his grandchildren. He was the life of the party, whether he knew people at said party, or not. You would always see him with a big grin on his face, or around Tiffany, darting eyes and pursing his lips. He was hilarious, unhinged, and always late to any event, but what he will be from here on out, is greatly missed.

Sean is survived by his children: Tiffany Marsh (Nathan), Sean Kitchens II, and James Kitchens. His grandchildren, who lovingly called him "Po-Po": Gabriel Marsh, Braxton Marsh, and Piper Kitchens. He is also survived by his sister Pam Swick and nephew Mike Swick, nieces: Melissa Frugia and Melinda Barny and their families.

The family will welcome friends at 3:00pm, Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089.
