Savannah Lawren Ayers poured everything she could into the 18 years of life she was blessed to have. Sent from Heaven with her twin, Josiah, on September 12, 2007, Savannah returned to Heaven on November 11, 2025 — having filled each of her 6,636 days with love, kindness, and joy.

Savannah was a bright, loving, and generous soul whose warmth touched everyone who knew her. Intelligent and curious from a young age, she pursued learning with enthusiasm and grace. Savannah loved reading, asking thoughtful questions, and sharing her insights with family and friends. Her quiet strength, quick mind, and gentle spirit inspired those around her every day. She was a senior at Memorial High School in Pasadena and excelled in the Early College Program.

Family was at the center of Savannah's life. She cherished time with her parents, siblings, and extended family, and her love for them was unwavering. Her twin, Josiah, stood by her side through every step of her journey — a constant companion, source of comfort, and lifelong friend. Savannah's boyfriend, Daniell Velazquez, never wavered in his love and care; their relationship was a bright, loving presence in her life.

Savannah had a quiet, simple nature and a unique ability to make others feel seen and heard. She volunteered her time and was always willing to help when asked. If you were fortunate enough to be in her presence, you left feeling better.

A devoted Disney fan, Harry Potter enthusiast, and Lego-building master, Savannah loved travel and family adventures. Highlights she treasured included a trip to Hawaii in March 2024, seeing Wicked on Broadway, dining at Hell's Kitchen with family, and attending her first Houston Texans game with her dad, Josiah, and cousin Joseph. Whether swimming with dolphins, relaxing on the beach, or visiting Disney World, Savannah's favorite part of every trip was being with family.

Throughout her courageous battle with osteosarcoma, Savannah remained a source of comfort for loved ones. She offered a steady shoulder, compassion, and encouragement until the end, leaving a lasting impression on family, neighbors, teachers, classmates, and caregivers. In facing illness, she taught those around her about resilience, hope, and the meaning of love.

Savannah is survived by her parents, Lawrence Ayers and Maria Gonzalez-Ayers her twin, Josiah; her siblings, Skye, Evan, Kevon, and Jada; grandparents Gloria Gonzalez and Alda Ayers, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends who will carry her memory forward.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to [charity or hospital foundation], or that acts of kindness be carried out in Savannah's name.

Savannah's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her — remembered for her brilliant mind, boundless kindness, and the deep love she held for family, especially the extraordinary bond with her twin and best friend, Josiah.
