Santos Gonzales, 76, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on February 24, 2026. He was born on October 11, 1949, in Converse, Texas.

Santos is survived by his beloved wife, Amelia Gonzales, and their children: Anita Gonzales and husband Daniel Ramirez, Christina Tovar and husband Cesar Tovar, Marc Villalovos and wife Kristen Villalovos, and Erik Villalovos and husband Adam Esguerra, Amanda Gonzales and husband John Dobison, Veronica Gonzales, Rena Gonzales and Husband Edward Gonzalez. He is also survived by his brother, Refugio Gonzales, and sisters, Juanita Valverde and Lucy Casto. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his grandchildren: Michael Gonzales, Linda Castro and husband Gabriel Castro, Samantha Tovar, Cesar Tovar Jr. and wife Priscilla Tovar, Daniel Gonzales, Danielle Ramirez, Jacob Rios, Aaron Gazcon, Emma Gonzalez, Madisyn Villalovos, Diego Ramirez, Bash Villalovos, and Zyon Villalovos. Santos was also the proud great-grandfather to Gabriel and Aubrey Castro and Santiago Tovar and is remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Santos had a lifelong career as a welder, working for various companies and earning the respect of colleagues for his dedication and expertise. He was also a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan, always ready to cheer for his team.

Outside of work, Santos cherished spending time with his family. He loved cooking and barbequing for everyone, a tradition that brought joy and togetherness to his home. He took great pride in playing games with his children and grandchildren, and his hands were always busy as he helped those around him with anything they needed—whether it was fixing something or offering a kind word of advice. He also loved to travel with his family.
