Sabina Fuentes Bebee, 78, of Houston, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in her home in Houston.

Sabina was born February 19, 1947 to Petra Montalvo and Pablo Fuentes in Alice, Texas. She attended William Adam's High school and graduated in 1965. After graduating she joined the military as a naval nurse and was stationed at a naval base in Corpus Christi. She met her husband, Rayford Bebee, when he became a patient of hers at the base. She completed her service in 1968 and married Rayford December 20 of the same year.

The newlywed couple spent time in North Carolina where Rayford was stationed while he finished his service in the marines. Eventually they moved back to Texas settling into civilian life and in 1972 they welcomed their son Robert Bebee in Corpus Christi. Later moving and settling in the Houston area where they welcomed daughter Ryssa Bebee in 1976. Together Rayford and Sabina shared 35 years of marriage, but continued on as loving best friends till his passing in June of 2023.

Sabina worked diligently as a telecom operator for a company that later became AT&T for 30+ years, where she gained a sisterhood with lifelong friends. After retirement Sabina quickly dove into the grandmother life, spending time with her children and granddaughters.

Sabina was a loving, giving, and graceful woman whose light and kindness will be sorely missed here on Earth.

She is survived by daughter, Ryssa Bebee; granddaughters Darianne, Krystalyn and Justice Garcia; grandson in law Elijah Pearson; great-grandsons Oakley and Mylan Pearson; great-granddaughter Salem Pearson; brothers Louis Manuel (Shawn) Fuentes, Joe (Yolanda) Fuentes, and Vicente (Alicia) Fuentes; and a plethora of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Pablo Fuentes and stepmother, Maria De Refugio Fuentes; mother, Petra Montalvo; sisters Simona Ynfante, Valentina Celedon, Maria Elena Morales, Judith Fuentes, Maggie Soliz, and Elva Montalvo Aleman; brothers, Juan and Manuel Fuentes; brothers-in law, Francisco Celedon, Ernesto Morales Sr., and Manuel Ynfante Jr.; Former spouse, Rayford Bebee; and son, Robert Bebee. Robert died a HFD LODD May 31, 2013. Sabina lived a long impactful life and now she may rest easy alongside her son and family for eternity. She will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends at Peevey Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 1, from 10:00am until 11:00am, the service will begin at 11:00am, interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.
