Russell Edward Lollar, "Eddie," age 77, of Deer Park, Texas, was born on April 10, 1946 in Houston, Texas. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 12, 2023.

Eddie graduated from Deer Park High School in 1964. In 1966, he was drafted into the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War as a Specialist 5. His love for cars began at an early age. He loved to build, restore, and collect Corvettes and classic cars. His passion for cars and helping others built a close circle of friends. He was a man of integrity who many relied on for help with various needs. He was always willing to give a helping hand. Eddie worked at Shell Oil for 38+ plus years, where he met many friends as well.

Eddie was married to the love of his life Judy for 43 years. Together they enjoyed spending time with their two daughters and granddaughters. Over the years, they spent time camping, working on projects at home together, and attending all of the girls' activities. He devoted his entire life to his kids. Even as adults, he always made sure the girls had what they needed and that they were taken care of.

Eddie read his Bible daily and his faith was evident in his daily life. Together, Eddie and his wife Judy instilled a strong foundation of faith in their children. Through his faith, he recognized the many miracles God had blessed them with.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy Lollar, and their two daughters, Christin Baker and husband John, Lori Weed and husband John; granddaughters, Brooklyn Baker, Everly Weed, and Presley Weed. He is also survived by his stepmother, Rose Lollar, sister, Debbie Southworth, half-sister, Karen Lollar, sister in law, Marilyn Englebert and husband Rob, brother in law, Dennis Frieda, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, father, Ray Lollar, mother, Joy Michaels, and stepfather James Michaels. He is also preceded in death by mother in law, Gladys Prilucik, half-sisters, Tammy Lollar and Patricia Lollar, and brother in law, Larry Southworth.

The service will be held at First Baptist Church Pasadena, Monday, December 18, at 11:00am, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park at 2:30pm.
