On Saturday, September 16, 2023, Heaven gained an angel, Rudy A. Ramirez Jr. passed away at the age of 64.

Rudy never met a stranger and was a great friend to all. Rudy always had a smile on his face and lived life to the fullest every single day.

Rudy was born in Houston, TX on March 23, 1959. He joined the Army in 1977. Rudy met his wife, Wanda in 1989 and married in 1994. He worked for Consolidated Containers for over 30 years, until he retired. He loved family gatherings, vacations, BBQing, Tejano music, and drinking a couple of cold ones. Rudy cherished and loved his cat, Selena. He never gave up on opportunity to be on a "board". Rudy was given the nickname "Money Man". He was an amazing husband, father, brother, grandpa, brother-in-law and father-in-law.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Rudy Ramirez III; wife Tina Ramirez, Granddaughters; Alexandra Ramirez, Alexis Ramirez, Alizae Ramirez. Son, Teddy Charcas, Granddaughter; Breana Charcas. Son, Jason Garcia; wife Jamie Castaneda, Grandchildren; Kie Cicherski IV, Gia Rose Castaneda. Son, Jacob Garcia. Daughter, Annette Ramirez Cerda; husband Juan Cerda, Granddaughter; Alyzah Cerda. Daughter, Darlene Ramirez; husband Manuel Hernandez, Grandchildren; Manuel Hernandez Jr., Isaiah Hernandez, Cecilia Hernandez.

Rudy is preceded in death by his parents, Katherine Ezparza Turman and Rudolph Ramirez Sr., and brother Michael Ramirez.

Plants are preferred to honor his memory.

A funeral service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Friday September 22, 2023 at 4:00pm, with visitation one hour prior to service.
