Ruby Ray was born on January 23, 1936 in Liberty Hill, Texas, to John Burgess Haydon & Julia Clement Haydon (Wade), and was received back into God's arms on November 17, 2021. Ruby Ray now joins her loving husband of 60 years, Clyde Wesley Ray, in eternal Glory, along with her parents.

Ruby leaves behind a legacy of three wonderful children, Greg (Donna) Ray, Gwen (Steve) Hines and Gary (Eileen) Ray. In addition Ruby was blessed with 9 grandchildren, Kelli (Ryan) Meier, Lori Hines, Travis Ray, Brandon (Nathania) Ray, Caleb Ray, Kyle Ray, Jaleen (Levi) Bandy, Corey Daniel, and Tyler Ray; and 7 great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kacey, Jaynelin, Mollie, Graceun, Wesley, & Silas.

One of Ruby's most favorite verses in the bible was that of III John 1:4 which states, "I have no greater joy then to hear my children are walking in the truth." If you knew Ruby this verse speaks volumes of how each and every day she always lived for the Lord.

Ruby loved to run, and always had so much energy. Throughout her life she played every sport that she could. Ruby also said that she loved being a wife. One of her greatest joys was when she married Clyde at the age of 17, and in her own words, "The rest is history".

The funeral service for Ruby will be held at First Baptist Church Pasadena, Monday, November 22, at 2:00pm., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be Tuesday, November 23, at 10:00am., at Grand View Memorial Park.

The funeral service will also be live streamed for those who are not able to attend.
