Mrs. Rosalinda Campbell, 76 years of age, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Memorial Hermann Hospital Katy. Rosalinda was born September 2, 1945, in Minalin Principality, Pampanga, Philippines.

She married her lifelong love and partner of 54 years, Lee Arthur Campbell. They were married at Clark Air Base, Philippines in 1967. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to an eldest son and two younger daughters.

Rosalinda loved to cook and serve her friends native Filipino dishes such as pansit and lumpia, more commonly known as noodles and spring eggrolls. She was generous, made friends easily as she liked to make humorous, pleasant conversation. She habitually visited the local nurseries, loved flowers and was always potting and planting them all year round.

She loved this country and became a naturalized citizen August 24, 1984.

She was a member of YMCA for many years and enjoyed daily exercise in aerobics.

She is survived by her husband Lee Campbell, her son Richard Campbell, and her daughter Geraldine Duplantis; two grandchildren Gabrielle Duplantis and Kagan Campbell; three sisters, Aurora Lara, Marina Salonga, Clarita Sagmit, and a brother, Julio Sagmit, plus a host of nieces and nephews all living in the Philippines except Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Stephanie Campbell, her youngest brother Aurelio SagmitJr., and her parents Aurelio and Asuncion Sagmit.

Rosie was a kind, generous, loving spirit who took great pleasure in the simple things. She will be deeply missed by us all.

The funeral service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Thursday, April 28, at 11:00am., with visitation one hour prior to the service; interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery at 1:30pm.
