Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Hunt, 70, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away peacefully, at his residence, on Friday, March 22, 2024. He was born on February 22, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to the late J.R. and Betty Jean Raper Hunt. Ronnie graduated from South Houston High School, in Houston, class of 1972. He went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in business management from Sam Houston State University, class of 1977. Ronnie enjoyed working alongside his father at Kapital Kampers, afterwards, he worked for EasTex RV, and later transferring to PPL to finish his career.

Ronnie pursued many interests, some of which included going fishing, camping in his RV, and going to the movies. He was known as a foodie, he loved going to different restaurants and venues trying new things. Ronnie's greatest joy came from spending time with his precious family, in which he was very proud of. He was a loyal friend and would do anything that was asked of him. Ronnie had a quirky personality. He could easily light up a room with his infectious laugh.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; his son Casey Lyn Leitner; and his niece Miranda Shay Twitty. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his beloved wife Jackie Perkins Hunt of twelve years; his children Michael Leitner and wife Amy, Ron "Bear" Hunt; Sandra Tyburczyk and fiancé Eduardo Amaya, Albert Lott and wife Heidi, Jennifer Scott and husband Wayne; his nine grandchildren Tinsley Leitner, Lara Leitner, Harris Leitner, Tyler Tyburczyk, Madison Tyburczyk, Jacob Lott, Savannah Lott, Lindsey Lewis, Logan Lewis, his brother Jay Hunt and wife Kimberly; his numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration honoring Ronnie's life will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 1pm, in the sanctuary of Watters Road Church of Christ, with Pastor Jonathan Sanford officiating, 3616 Watters Road, Pasadena, Texas 77504. The family requests that those who will be attending to please wear blue as it was his favorite color, or and other fun color.
