Ronald Erle Henshaw, 80, passed away on December 2, 2021. He was known as Ronnie to family and friends. He was born October 28, 1941 in Houston, Texas to Fred and Florence Henshaw.

Ronnie graduated from Jesse Jones High School and then served 4 years in the United States Army. After returning home, he studied English and Literature at the University of Houston. He loved to write poetry, was a talented artist, and eventually published a book. His entire career was in the trucking industry. He logged many miles on the road and had great stories from his travels across the country. He later worked as an Operations Manager with Pipe Distributors, Inc until he retired in 2016.

Ronnie is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 26 years Linda Henshaw; sister Barbara Cash and husband Tommy; son Chris Henshaw and wife Janelle; daughter Marie Parker; son Joshua Henshaw; step daughter Amy Walker and husband Dean; step son Michael Patterson; niece Rhonda Barrie; nephews Ronald Barrie and Jason Ray; and his grandchildren Killian Henshaw, Thomas Parker, Lila Parker, Tate Walker and Grayson Walker.

Ronnie enjoyed golf, chess and watching old, western movies. He loved animals, especially his dog Pearl. He loved his family, his friends, and his church where he served as Lay Eucharist Minister and Reader.

The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 7843 Park Place Blvd, Houston, TX 77087, Saturday, December 11th, at 12:00pm., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be privately held for family members at Forest Park Lawndale.
