On Saturday, May 7, 2022, Ronald "Ron" Costello, passed away at age 60.

Ron was born on January 2, 1962, in Houston, Texas to Philip and Lidia "Lily" (Calderon) Costello. He worked at many jobs throughout the years, but he was most known for his work with the City of Alvin. On April 14, 1980, he married Margaret "Margie" Smith. They raised four strong, independent daughters: Ronna, Alicia, Sarah, and Madison.

Ron had a passion for helping others, going fishing, and cutting grass. Any weekend you could find him at one of his daughter's houses to fix something or on his lawnmower cutting grass, enjoying his cold refreshments. He was known for his quick wit, his irresistible smile and laugh, and his ability to work on anything you asked him to.

Ron's greatest calling was to be a father and grandfather. His silly demeanor and prankster ways made him even more loveable. He loved his girls and his grandkids immensely. He was always sharing his words of wisdom and ways of life with all of them.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, Philip, and mother, Lily; his wife, Margie; and his brothers and sister: Philip Jr., Paul, Eugene, Rhonda, and Troy. He is survived by his daughters, Ronna and spouse Jake Clawson; Alicia and spouse Sammy Guzman; Sarah Costello; Madison Costello; and his grandchildren, Elijah and Aiden (Sarah), Grace (Ronna), and George (Alicia), as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

A memorial service for Ron will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089, Saturday, May 21, at 11:00am; a reception will follow the service.
