Robert Howard Colvin, II, 76, died September 18, 2022. He was born on November 17, 1945, in Laurel Mississippi, the son of William Wood Colvin and Georgia Faye Colvin.

Robert married Carol Jean Fowler, on June 25, 1966, and were married almost 55 years when she passed on June 4, 2021.

Robert was an avid fisherman and hunter. He owned a ranch in Woodville in which he lived until he passed away. He was a hard worker and a great mentor to many. He had strong hand of discipline and was always willing to help others. His love for his family was unmatched, as was their love for him.

Robert is survived by his three children: daughter, Brenda Gaile Freeman, and husband Glen Freeman, son, Robert Howard Colvin, III (Bubba), daughter, Janie Marie Garcia and husband, David Garcia; two sisters: Beverly Gaile Thielen, and husband John F. Thielen, and Jackie Faye Garrett; one brother: Jeff Adelbert Colvin, and wife Marie Colvin; five grandchildren: Robert Neil Dalton, and wife Keely Dalton, Tanner Glen Freeman, and wife Annie Freeman, Robert Howard Colvin IV (Hunter), Kassidy Necole Garcia, and Marshall Kain Garcia. Three great-grandchildren: Rye Allen Diaz, Cora Jean Diaz, and Riggs Neil Dalton, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers: William Wood Colvin, Jr., David Wayne Colvin, and Glenn Anthony Colvin.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30pm Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Peevey Funeral Home.
