Richard "Ricky" Alton Robbins, 54, of Pasadena, passed away on May 12, 2026. Born on November 9, 1971, Ricky was the son of Douglas Charles Robbins and Ernestine Robbins.

Ricky graduated from La Porte High School and spent much of his life doing what he loved most — supporting his family, helping others, and being involved in the racing and livestock communities. He enjoyed dirt track racing, livestock showing with both of his sons, Christopher and Stephen, and had a special interest in snakes.

He was known for always being there for others, whether helping his own children or lending a hand to friends and families with their 4-H and FFA projects. Ricky volunteered with the Pasadena Livestock Show, where he served on the ice committee, and with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where he was a member of the rabbit committee. He also served as a flagman at Battleground Speedway for the EMSA series, where he made many lifelong friendships.

Ricky is survived by his sons, Christopher Douglas Robbins (Phoebe Vasquez) and Stephen Douglas Robbins; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Ernestine Robbins, and his sister, Christina Robbins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Ricky will be deeply missed by his family and friends, as well as many throughout the livestock and racing communities.
