Rheda Mae Clark, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother entered into rest September 20, 2021 in Webster, Texas at the age of 89.

She was born July 14, 1932 to Gurvis and Maxie Johnson in the small community of Doodle Fork, Louisiana, now considered part of Kinder, Louisiana. Rheda attended Port Arthur College where she met the love of her life Richard N. Clark Jr., they were married in 1954 and lived faithfully as husband and wife for almost 63 Years. They studied and understood the word of the Bible which was so precious to Rheda, they both attended United Pentecostal First Church until Richards' passing in 2017.

Rheda had a natural talent for so many things, she sang in a gospel quartet for several years with her brother Leland, whom she was so proud of his ability to sing bass. They performed at a radio station in Jasper, Texas and traveled throughout the tri-state area singing their praises.

She was also a gifted artist, well versed in watercolor, oil painting and portraits. She once worked as a character artist at Astroworld. She was able to capture the most minute details in all of her works. She shared her love of art with many people by teaching art classes in the Pasadena- Houston, Texas area for many years.

Her bond with her family was of the utmost importance, spending quality time, making memories and sharing stories were the moments she held closest to her heart. Visiting wasn't always possible, but she was always just a phone call away. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her and those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by a son, Richard E. Clark; two grandsons, Jeffery Warner and Clifton Warner; three nieces, Tasca Heard, Cathy Landry, and Sandra; one nephew, Scotty Johnson; sister-in-law, Shirley Johnson; a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Clark; sons Robin Dale Clark and Ryan Keith Clark; daughter Rhonda Warner; brothers, L.E. Johnson and Leland Johnson; parents Gurvis and Maxie Johnson.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 23, at 11:00am., at Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creel Louisiana.

The service will be led by L.E Robertson.
