Regina Lee Hudson passed away on December 24, 2023. She was the oldest of four siblings born to Patsy L Hudson on October 12, 1957.  She is preceded in death by her father Art Chachere, mother Patsy Hudson, step-father Hugh Hudson and nephew Ryan Ayoub.

She was blessed with her own son Jonathan D Wuneburger, who gave her two beautiful grandsons Maddox and Dominic.

She was the best big sister to brother Kenneth and sisters Susan and Kelley growing up. She was our first friend and always felt a sense of responsibility for us even if we annoyed her on many occasions.

She frequently entertained family and friends at her home, which included her lifelong friends, Mark and Jeannette, Jackie Sue, and Kim.  This would include many barbecues, and pool parties where all the nieces, nephews and her son and many of their friends would play for hours.  She loved to sing at the top of her lungs, dance like no one's watching,and being the life of the party.

She had a fascination with fast cars and motorcycles, which she rode with the love of her life of 15 years, Johnny Summers. They loved going to the motorcycle rallies as well as antiquing together. She loved to collect all sorts of Gee-Jaws such as tea pots, cookie canisters and dragonflies.

She was very intelligent and dedicated to her career as a financial analyst with UT, where she was admired for her kindness and caring nature. You could see her personality in her office, with all kind of seasonal bric-a-brac and decor, which she was known for at all times as it spilled out of her office.

She is greatly missed by all of her family, large and extensive amounts of cousins and half siblings, aunts, uncles, and stepmom's.

To know Gina is to love her, and if you knew her, you'll miss her.

Gina's Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00pm., Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Peevey Funeral Home; 12440 Beamer Road Houston, Texas 77089.
