It is with great love and gratitude that we celebrate the life of Becky Parrott, who passed away peacefully at the age of 84, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, acceptance, joy, and unwavering love.

She had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen, valued, and appreciated exactly as they were. She embraced others with an open heart, believing that everyone deserved dignity, respect, and belonging. Her life reflected the simple but powerful teaching that guided her faith, "Love one another." This message was not merely something she quoted. It was how she lived each day.

She found joy in the small moments, giggling at one of her many quick-witted jokes, sneaking any dog she met extra treats, enjoying an afternoon at the beach, watching the game with her family, and listening to music. From Motown and Elvis Presley to Prince and The Rolling Stones, she instilled a love for music in her children and grandchildren.

She also treasured her friendships and believed that life's greatest gifts were the people we share it with. Above all else, she loved her family. Her children, grandchildren, and extended family were the pride and joy of her life. She delighted in their accomplishments, supported them through challenges, and cherished every opportunity to spend time together. Her laughter, encouragement, and unconditional love will continue to guide them for years to come.

Though she will be deeply missed, those who knew and loved her find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the impact she made in the lives around her. Her family invites all who knew her to honor her memory by sharing kindness freely, celebrating life's joys often, and loving others without conditions, just as she did.

Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2026 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Peevey Funeral & Cremation, 12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089. A private graveside service will follow later in the week.
