Phoebelee Oliver Vazquez went to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 27, 2022. Phoebe leaves behind her loving husband, Carlos, her Daughter Michelle Moya, her son Michael Berninger and wife Amanda, her grandchildren Christopher Berninger and wife Shelby, Luis Delgado, Noe Delgado, and fiancé Carmen, Mikie Berninger, and Wednesday Berninger, and great-grandchildren Jayden and Nova Berninger and many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her sister, Allene Smith and her brother, Granville Oliver, and her sister-in-law, Jamie Oliver. She is preceded in death by her parents, Corky and Charlotte, and her brother Jewell.

Phoebe was born on May 26, 1950, and was the oldest of four children. She was a teacher for over 30 years with Pasadena ISD, taught English as a Second Language for Harris County, and became the Director of North Pasadena Community Outreach before her retirement in 2016.

Phoebe brightened any room she entered and made friends everywhere she went. She adored her family and friends and spent her time going to church, singing, traveling, watching movies, and dressing up in her "bling." She leaves us with a void that cannot be filled.

The service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 2, at 6:00pm., visitation will continue until 8:00pm. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The American Heart Association.
