Philip Lane Absher 83 of Pearland ,Texas passed away on June 15th 2026 in his home surrounded by family. Born on August 12, 1942 in Houston, Texas,  to  parents  Lawson Absher and Helen Absher  Parrigen  He grew up in the church of St. Paul's Episcopal and went on to live his life as a testament of love. Philip was an  Air force veteran serving  four years in Wyoming.  Once known as a Pool shark and  an  acapella singer with former soldiers calling themselves the Righteous Brothers.  Philip was known for bringing light ,humor and friendship to everyone around him . Known for being an active man in his community  . He was a Mason, Little League Baseball coach , truck driver and amazing dad. Philip Absher is survived by wife Arietta Absher, daughter Marla Cooksey ; Son Andrew Absher from Colorado. Harry Cooksey and spouse Autumn and daughter Olivia.  Grandchildren Bobby Cooksey  Ethan Cooksey Sharon Burgaleta and their mother Christie Cooksey.

Those who knew Philip will remember him for being honest ,witty ,humble and fair he leaves behind a legacy of faith love and forgiveness that will continue to shine through his family . Philip Absher will be deeply missed and remembered for always being the best man in the room.  We will always love you and know how much you being in our lives changed our hearts forever.
