With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Phat Van Nguyen, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, who passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 56.

Phat was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him. He carried a gentle spirit, a kind heart, and a quiet strength that brought comfort and joy to his family and friends. His presence filled rooms with warmth, and his smile had a way of easing even the heaviest days.

As a son, Phat was deeply loved and cherished beyond words. As a brother, he was a constant source of support, laughter, and companionship. As an uncle, he brought playfulness, love, and a special bond that will be forever treasured.

Phat's life was meaningful and impactful. He leaves behind memories that will be held close and stories that will be shared for generations. His love, his spirit, and the imprint he left on those around him will never fade.

He is survived by his loving family who will miss him dearly and carry him in their hearts always.

Heaven gained my brother today. He's now reunited with my dad and brother John. Forever loved. Forever missed.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 12, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Peevey Funeral Home. The mass will be held at Vietnamese Martyr Catholic Church, Friday, February 13, at 6:30pm. The service will also be held at Vietnamese Martyr Catholic Church, Saturday, February 14, at 8:00am. Interment will follow at Forest Park East.
