Peter Anthony Miceli, 101 years old, of Pearland, Texas passed away peacefully at home on August 28, 2025, surrounded by his family. Peter was born on July 5, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Peter served honorably in the United States Navy during World War II.  After his service, he ran a successful business, Best Tailors in Pasadena, Texas.  He was known for his administrative and legal skills. He was a very smart man with a big heart. He received the America Legion Meritorious Service award from Theodore Roosevelt in 1955. Peter was recognized as a lifetime member of Pearland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association in 2011. For many years he has supported the Pearland Police Department through their 100 Club.

He enjoyed & loved cooking, his passion like a true Itailan.  He enjoyed bowling, puzzles, reading newpapers, and playing online strategy & skill games. But for him, there was no place better than home, that was his truth.

Peter is preceded in death by his parents Paul Miceli and Anna Di-Petrio. Peter is survived by his lovely wife Ana I. Miceli.  Three great grandchildren Ashley, Daniel and Kristopher.  4 great grandchildren Wyatt, Emily, Kinsley and Kameryn.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Stellar Hospice & their staff. The kindness & care given to Peter by Alex, Shunda, Stephanie & Cletus was exceptional.

The service honoring his life will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Wednesday, September 3, at 12:00pm., with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery.
