Paula Kay Peters passed away unexpectedly in her sleep at home January 13, 2024. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on April 13, 1949 to parents James Harvey Peters and Jonna Lee Richerson Peters. She was the eldest of four children who were raised on a dairy farm. Her family moved to Alvin, Texas in 1962 when she was 13 years old.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Lisa Peters Barnett, and brother James David Peters.

Paula is survived by her sister Sheila Salazar, son Cole Stinson, daughter-in-law Raasha Stinson, grandson Wyatt Stinson, and granddaughter Alexis Hepinstall, son Jesse Stinson and wife, daughter Sheridan Truss, son-in-law Sydney Truss, granddaughter Audrey Truss, and grandson Lennox Truss, as well as many loved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Paula actively shared with others Jehovah's plan for mankind's future. She found comfort in his hope from the Bible about a peaceful earth with no suffering and death as mentioned in Isaiah 25:8.

Paula was a fun, vivacious, knowledgeable, strong woman. She loved to read an innumerable amount of books, watch a good mystery, watch her grandchildren participate in sports, learn and discuss new vocabulary words, dance, paint, travel, and be around those she loved.

There will be a memorial service/celebration of life on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 1:00pm at The Windemere Mansion at Bal Harbor, 123 Lakeside Ln., Houston, Texas 77058. She had fabulous style, so feel free to dress fabulously. Friends, family, and those who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
