Patrick Monroe Brown, 85, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. He was born on February 24, 1941, in Houston to Mary and George M. Brown.

Known to many as Pat, he was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Mitchell "Mickey" Brown; his son, Lloyd Patrick "Patches" Brown; and his beloved wife, Katherine Dailey Brown.

He is survived by his brothers, Jimmy Brown and Kirby Brown; his children, Robbin Brown and wife Donna, Sheree Higby, Troy Brown and Lindsay Liles; his stepchildren, Shana Jo Miller and husband Jeremy, and Shelle Wood and husband Mark; and his grandchildren, Hayden Higby,  and Kaitlyn Liles. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

Pat spent the majority of his career as a heavy equipment operator, specializing in tower cranes. He retired from Southern Operators in 2004 and was a proud member of Local IUOE 450. He was also a Master Mason and an active member of the Arabia Shriners Provost Guard, for many years.

A man known for his kindness and generosity, Pat was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In his free time, he enjoyed beekeeping, fishing, and gardening alongside his wife, Kat.

Pat will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
