Pat Griffen Cheek, Jr., went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2026. He was born on July 9, 1950, to Pat and Jackie Cheek and held a special place in his heart for his grandmother who poured love and strength into him, standing by his side through the hardest seasons of his life, helped shape the man he became.

Pat was a man who loved deeply and lived his life with a servant's heart. He always tried to live like Jesus—loving others, helping anyone who needed a hand, and giving of himself without expecting anything in return. If someone needed help, Pat was the kind of person who would do his best to be there. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others were a reflection of the love he carried in his heart.

Family meant everything to Pat. He cherished his beloved wife, Janna, and was devoted to his children and grandchildren. The love he had for his family was evident in the way he cared for them, supported them, and treasured the time they shared together. His family was one of his greatest blessings, and the memories they made with him will remain forever in their hearts.

Pat also had a love for the outdoors, especially hunting. He enjoyed the peace of being outside, the beauty of nature, and the time spent doing something he loved. Those who knew Pat know that some of his happiest moments were often the simple ones.

Pat leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, faith, kindness, and family. Though his absence leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, his family can find comfort knowing that the love he gave so freely will continue through the lives of those he touched.

Pat's life was a testament to the kind of man he strived to be and sought to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. His earthly journey is over, but his love, his example, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.
