Nhiem Thi Nguyen was  known to many as a beloved wife, a devoted mother, a loving daughter, a supportive sister, a caring aunt, and a truehearted friend.  Celebrated as a beacon of love, kindness, and generosity, She was  treasured and admired by all who knew her. Her profound impact on the lives of countless individuals is a testament to her remarkable capacity to live a life of sacrifice and compassion.

Born in Vietnam on January 1,1964, daughter to Tien Dinh Nguyen and Nhuong Thi Tran, Nhiem Nguyen was the second eldest among seven siblings. The Vietnam War forced the family to flee their home and immigrated to the USA in 1975.  With their bare hands and faith, they were blessed by God who brought the family together with a Catholic Church.  The Church later sponsored them and provided a new home where they initially settled in Seabrook, Texas.

While living in Seabrook in 1984, Nhiem encountered the love of her life, Tien Bui. Their love story unfolded like a storybook romance culminating in marriage in 1987. Nhiem and Tien were inseparable partners in every facet of life, working diligently to secure a prosperous future. Their entrepreneurial spirit led to the creation of thriving businesses, paving the way for a better life and expanding their family.

In 1990, they fulfilled one of their shared dreams by building a home and moving to Friendswood, Texas. That same year, they welcomed their son, Brian Bui, into their lives. To Nhiem, Brian was her "sweet wonderful loving son," and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to his upbringing. Her love and generosity extended beyond her household, as she and her husband welcomed her parent-in-laws and siblings to America.

Despite the demands of her business, Nhiem's priority was always her family first. She could balance her diligent work responsibility while still ensuring that quality family time remained central. Her dedication to those she loved was evident in the vacations she organized, which were focused on creating cherished memories and building strong family bonds. Driven by a desire to provide experiences she was deprived of at their age, Nhiem was deeply committed to offering the kids in her life opportunities to immerse themselves in diverse cultures and environments.

Starting in 2010, Nhiem continued these trips, increasingly focusing on visiting places that had long been on her personal wish list. Over the years, she visited a remarkable 55 destinations and fulfilling her dreams of exploring the world while sharing unforgettable moments with her loved ones.

Her devout faith in God was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through trials and triumphs alike. Nhiem considered every moment a blessing from God, viewing her journey as filled with divine providence and grace. This profound faith was apparent through her actions, which inspired those around her.

In 2015, Nhiem faced medical challenges that hinted at a deeper condition, confirmed as ALS in 2018. Despite this, her unwavering spirit, faith, and love continued to shine brightly.

In 2021, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of building her dream home, where her elder sister moved next door to offer unwavering support until the end. This epitomized the special bonds of love and the deeply rooted family values she cherished.

Nhiem's selflessness and unconditional love were celebrated through a unique series of events in January, February and March: both her and her husband's birthdays and their wedding anniversary. These occasions were deeply honored, marking 38 heartfelt years of marriage and reinforcing the strength of their bond merely months before her peaceful passing on May 3, 2025. Described by her loved ones as genuine, thoughtful, kind, compassionate, and selflessly sacrificial, Nhiem's remarkable legacy of love endures. Though she leaves behind an immeasurable void, the profound impact she had on all who knew her remains steadfast, inspiring many to continue embodying the compassion and love she so freely gave. Her love and dedication to her husband and her "sweet wonderful loving son" were unparalleled, making her truly beloved by all who had the privilege to know her. Her presence will forever be cherished and deeply missed.
