Mike Boessling, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025.

Born to Ervin and Nell Boessling, Mike lived a life defined by service, hard work, faith, and joy. He proudly served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1971, including a tour in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969.

After his military service, Mike dedicated over 40 years to Boessling Home and Remodeling, leaving his craftsmanship in homes throughout the community.

Mike married the love of his life, Judy, with whom he shared a beautiful partnership of faith, family, and adventure. Mike joined Sagemont Church in 1974, serving in the Children's Church for 25 years before he joined the choir for 19 years. From 2006 to 2015, Mike and Judy poured their hearts into the prison ministry, sharing the Gospel through preaching and even karaoke to bring hope to others.

A proud Pancreatic Cancer survivor of almost 10 years, Mike's resilience and faith were an inspiration to all who knew him.

Mike and Judy's love for traveling took them cruising around the world, collecting memories and friendships that lasted a lifetime. They cherished their many Christian friends and enjoyed countless gatherings — from Galveston fish fries to Christmas parties and family holiday celebrations.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife Judy; his children Sonia (Boessling) Gilbert and husband Casey, Michael Boessling and wife Valerie, Jay Craddock and wife Julie, Jill (Craddock) Rea and husband Joey; his grandchildren Erin, Cody, and Austin Rea; Jessa, VeVe and Justus Craddock; and Brock Boessling; his great-grandchild Emma Rea; his sister Nelda Borgfeld; and stepmother Pat Boessling.  He is preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Nell Boessling.

Mike's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His unwavering faith to God, humorous spirit, and boundless love for his family and friends will be remembered always.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held, Tuesday, August, 19, at 1:00pm., with visitation one hour prior to the service in the worship center at Sagemont Church: 11300 S Sam Houston Parkway E. Houston, TX.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery: 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, TX 77075.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sagemont Church in Mike's memory.
