Michael Allen Lazarus, 57 years old, gained his wings on Monday, August 01, 2022. He was born February 8, 1965, to his parents Guy Lazarus and Shirley Enloe in Houston, Texas.

Mike graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1983. Following high school Mike became a Master Electrician and was very well known in his profession.

Mike's passion was spending time riding his Harley and helping others in need. Mike lived large and 'out loud' and did things his own way. Mike never met a stranger and loved with his whole heart. To all who knew him, you never could get a word in edgewise. He was always right and if you did not believe him all you had to do was ask him. When he texted you, you needed a decoder just to read them for Mike was truly gifted, lol.

Mike's true passion in life was life itself. He spent many years and countless hours counseling, coaching, and encouraging those struggling with addictions. Mike had a desire to build a church that would serve as a place of sanctuary and fellowship to all those who needed it. To serve those struggling with addiction, to help them heal and learn the word of God, and to help others maintain their sobriety and reinforce their strength in God. Though Mike touched the lives of so many, unfortunately he was unable to help himself. His life ended before he could see his dream come to fruition.

Mike was part of a blended family. He is preceded in death by his parents Guy and Carol Lazarus, son, Shane Lazarus, and sister, Debra Lazarus.

Mike is survived by his mother, Shirley Enloe and her husband Charles, his son, Kurt Lazarus, and daughter, Brittany Lazarus. Sisters, Rebecca Phillips and husband Jeff, Kimberly Tollefsen and husband Daniel, Tammy Hanson and husband Weldon. Grandchildren Skylar, Lincoln, Hendrix, and a granddaughter on the way. Nephews Chris, Micah, Anthony, Jacob and Justin. Nieces Karrie, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Hannah.

Extended family, Michele Holt, Theresa Lazarus, Todd Moorman, and Melissa Evans.

And many, many, many friends.

The memorial service celebrating Mike's life will be held Saturday, August 13, at Clearpoint Church at 10:00am. Location of Clearpoint Church is 5151 E Sam Houston Pkwy S Pasadena, TX 77505.
