Michael D Lake was born January 7, 1975, in Grand Forks, North Dakota.  He passed away November 14, 2024.

Michael attended Dobie High School.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his brother Jerry Lynn Lake.

Michael is survived by his parents Jerry and Lynda Lake of Houston, TX., his son Andrew Lake of Friendswood, TX and his daughter Veyda Lake of Houston, TX.

He is remembered for his love of sports, especially the Texas A&M Javelins Basketball team in Kingsville, TX where his daughter attends school and plays Forward for the team. He shared his love of Houston Texans football team with his son, Andrew.  As avid fans they celebrated each victory and felt every loss.

Michael had a deep love for family, had an unwavering faith in God, loved Classic Rock music and the Houston Astros.  He never met a stranger and was always a loyal friend.

The service honoring Michael's life will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 at 12pm, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, TX 77089, with his uncle, the Rev. Donald McEntire of New Market, TN. officiating.
