Michael John Huffman, 53, born on February 10th, 1968, in Missouri, passed away Friday, January 21st, 2022, at his home in Manvel, TX.

Michael, known to many as Mike, grew up in the Southbelt area and attended Dobie High School. In June 1986, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a motor vehicle operator. As a Marine, he was awarded a Sharpshooter Rifle medal. Michael was honorably discharged in April 1987. At any age, Michael could be found fixing literally anything. Michael always had a passion for rebuilding car and boat engines. If he wasn't driving cross-country, you could find him on the water in a jet boat.

Michael is survived by his four daughters, Shelby, Sydney, Samantha, Sofie Huffman and his son-in-law, Ryan Maxwell; his mother and father, Michael and Maria Huffman; his soulmate, Lissa Bell, his brother Stuart Huffman and wife, Angela; his aunt, Dawn Huffman and spouse Jacquie Harbiston; nieces, Rachel Rumley and Rylee Huffman; his nephews, Carson and Evan Huffman. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Herbert and Marilyn Huffman (paternal), Hans and Sofie Gerstmeier (maternal).
