Louise Grubb, age 96, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and quiet strength that spanned nearly a century.

Born on January 25, 1930, in St. Louis, Oklahoma, during the Great Depression, Louise was the second of eleven children. Growing up in a large family shaped her generous spirit and deep appreciation for the bonds of sisterhood that she cherished throughout her life. She remained a devoted and beloved sister to her surviving siblings.

On April 11, 1948, she married the love of her life, Ray Grubb. Together they built a beautiful life grounded in faith, love, and adventure. They raised two daughters, Elaine and Joyce, who were the pride and joy of her life. Louise and Ray shared many happy years until his passing in 1994, after which she continued to honor their love through a life well lived and richly remembered.

Louise dedicated many years of service to Weingarten's Grocery Store, where she worked as the courtesy booth manager. Her kindness, professionalism, and warm smile left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike. She believed in treating everyone with dignity and respect, and she did so effortlessly.

For more than 70 years, Louise called Pasadena home. She was a familiar and cherished presence in her family. On January 25, 2025, in honor of her 95th birthday, she was recognized with a proclamation by Mayor Jeff Wagner declaring the day as Louise Grubb Day — a fitting tribute to a woman who gave so much to the people she loved.

Louise had a passion for travel and adventure. She and Ray created treasured memories exploring the United States and beyond. After Ray's passing, she continued traveling, often with her beloved sisters, embracing life with curiosity and joy.

She is survived by her two daughters, Elaine Domec and Joyce Martin, six remaining siblings; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion.

Louise will be remembered for her steady strength, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family. Her life was a testament to dedication, grace, and the enduring power of love. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

The service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 11, at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
