Martha passed away peacefully at her daughter's house on Friday, November 22, 2024, surrounded by her daughter and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Perry and her siblings. Flay Mordecai, Barry Mordecai, Hazel Axmacher, Evi Malone, Shirley Weaver, Vannie Sue Pennington, and Fay Stipling. She is survived by her beloved daughter Lynn Perry, niece Janice Lawrence and nephew Larry Andrews.

Martha was born on September 16th, 1926 in Alabama. She met her husband Charles and they married in Mississippi on March 30th, 1949 and were married for 62 years before his passing in February, 2011. They had an only child Lynn who was born on November 20, 1960.

Martha was actively involved in supporting Lynn's sports as she grew up and then later in her teaching/coaching career. Martha was an active volunteer at Bayshore Hospital for many many years. Martha loved plants, gardening and just being outdoors. Martha loved spending time with her daughter and friends and especially loved watching Astros games.  She was an avid Astros fan. Go Stros! Martha also adored her 2 little chihuahua's, Dixie and Trixie.

Martha was always the most caring, kind, thoughtful, unselfish person anyone would know and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.
