Marjorie Elaine Warwas 77, of Houston, Texas passed away November 8, 2023. She was born in Houston, Texas on December 13, 1945, to Gettys and Nellie McCammon.

Margie was preceded in death by both parents and her brother Thomas McCammon. She is survived by her daughter Sharon and husband Jesus Paredes of Houston, Texas, brother Wayne and wife Raye McCammon of Dickenson, Texas, brother David McCammon of Canyon Lake, Texas, sister Linda and husband Walter Milmo of Friendswood, Texas, and brother Willis and wife Connie McCammon of Shenandoah, Texas. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Margie was raised in a Christian home of two parents, four brothers and one sister. She loved Bible studies and witnessing. She had a contagious smile and loved to compliment anyone she saw. It brightened her day and theirs. In her last three weeks of life Margie continued to compliment everyone she encountered at the hospital and hospice.

Margie loved nature, including animals, flowers and insects. She favored dogs, cats, birds, feeding squirrels peanuts, and butterflies.

Margie left school and went to work for Oshman's Sporting Goods. She married in her mid-thirties and finally had her blue-eyed blond-headed baby girl. This had been a dream of hers since she was a little girl. When Sharon started school Margie went to work as a school crossing guard. Margie loved being around people and especially children. From being a school crossing guard, she went to work as an aide to a bus driver for special needs children. They knew Ms. Margie loved and cared for them. She worked this job into her seventies, until she resigned because of health issues.

At the age of sixty Margie got her GED. Margie had 20 years of service with Fort Bend ISD Margie was loved by all who were blessed to encounter her, and she will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Baptist Church, 111 E. Heritage Friendswood, Texas 77546, Monday, November 20th at 11:00am. with visitation one hour prior to the service, a reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall.
