Maria Angelica Zardeneta went to be with Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday; November 11, 2022 at the age of 90. She was born on July 13, 1932 in Laredo, TX.

Maria met the love of her life in 1952; Ernesto Zardeneta Sr. who had returned from The Korean War as an Army Sargeant. They were married on April 3rd. Mr. & Mrs. Zardeneta moved to Houston, TX in 1953.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Francisco & sister, Irma. Maria is survived by her two children; Daughter,Sylvia Bonham-Smith & Son, Ernesto (Ernie) Zardeneta, JR., Three grandchildren; Natalie Harris, Corey Smith & Jessica Smith. Three Great Grandchildren; Kenzie Harris, Isaac Harris & Ember Cunningham. Family members: Kavan Cunningham, Irma Velasquez & Carlos Velasquez, her baby brother.

Maria started each day with time with God. She will be missed. May she Rest In Peace.

The graveside service will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery next to Ernesto Zardeneta, Sr.
