Maria De la Luz Rodriguez, 57, Born August 5, 1965 of Pearland, Texas, Entered into her home of rest on the early Morning of Saturday, June 17th, 2023. She was surrounded by her forever loving Husband, Children, Sisters, and Family. Maria was a faithful Woman who loved the Lord, her Husband, Children, and Grandchildren. While she will be forever missed by many, we are thankful that again she is in the arms of her Father Efrain C. Zamora Sr., Mother Amelia L. Zamora, and Brothers Jose Gonzales and Efrain Zamora.

Maria is survived by her loving husband of over 42 years, Richard Rodriguez Sr. Whom she met in 1979 at the age 14 and fell deeply in love with. They married on October 17, 1981. They had their first child in December 1982, Ruth Rodriguez, their second daughter Connie Ericka Rodriguez arrived in January 1985, followed by their first son Richard Rodriguez Jr on the day of her 21st Birthday, August 1986, their final addition to their loving Family was their baby boy Abel Rodriguez born January 1990. Maria was a faithful Wife and a loving and caring Mother. She always put her children first and unconditionally loved them. Her most greatest accomplishments was her Family, and her most value treasures were their families. She put her Family before anything and God above all.

She will be greatly missed by all that knew her, even more so by her greatest accomplishments and valued treasures; Her Husband, Richard Rodriguez Sr., their Children; Daughter and Son In Law, Ruth and Jared, Daughter and Son In Law, Connie and Gabriel, Son and Daughter In Law, Richard and Michelle, Son and Daughter in Law, Abel & Elida. Her 13 beautiful Grandchildren; Randall, Roxana, Gabriel, Alexis, Abel Jr, Sebastian, Xiomari, Richard III, Vicente, Olivia, Jose, Emily, Baby Rodriguez.

Her celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm  with a service at 7:00pm at Peevey Funeral, 12440 Beamer, Rd, Houston TX 77089. Her immediate Family is requesting that this celebration remain intimate and is asking only for the attendance of HER Family.
