Maria "Mary" R. Galindo Huete was born on January 30, 1962, at St. Joseph Hospital Houston, Texas, to Julian Presas Galindo and Ramona Gonzalez Galindo Raised in Houston, Mary was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 30, 2026.

Mary graduated with honors from Charles Milby High School in 1980. She was known for her generous heart, strong faith, and willingness to help anyone in need. Mary faithfully supported Gods kingdom through her giving and compassionate spirit, always ready to donate to outreach ministries or assist those facing financial hardship. Throughout her life, she was abundantly blessed and, in turn, became a blessing to many others.

Mary was a hardworking and dedicated employee of Textile Recycler Inc., where she worked for 27 years. Her employer Munir Hussain showed great kindness and support to Mary and her family throughout the years.

Mary had a true gift for gardening and a deep love for nature. She enjoyed planting flowers in her front yard and growing fruit trees in her backyard. Whatever Mary planted would flourish. Her backyard was filled with grapefruit, orange and lemon trees that produced beautiful and delicious fruit for her family to enjoy.

A devoted and faithful member of House of Bread Evangelical Church in Pearland, Texas, Mary was part of the church family and a Pillar from the very beginning and remained committed for more than nine years.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Ramoma Galindo; sister Oralia G. Moreno and brothers, Reynaldo Galindo and Ruberto Galindo.

She leaves behind by her Son, Marc Emmanuel Huete and his wife, Evelyn Huete; her Daughter, Cassandra Adabell Huete; her three beautiful granddaughters; Adara, Ariah, and Hadassah Huete; and her sisters; Rosie Rocha, Janie Null, Alice Gonzalez and Josie Lopez brothers, Homero Galindo and Julio Galindo, along with many beloved family members and dear friends.

A memorial service celebrating Mary's life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Road, Houston, Texas 77089. The service will begin at 10:00 am and conclude at 11:00 am
