Marcos Javier Pena was born in Houston, TX on November 25, 1988 and went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2021 just a few days shy of his 33rd birthday.

Marcos was a strong hardworking and caring man, he loved to work on cars as both a hobby and profession. When he wasn't working he was barbecuing with his family and friends. He was always telling jokes and playing with his kids. He loved to make everyone around him laugh and smile. After he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer he spent most of his time bonding with his wife and children. He fought as hard as he could but God decided it was his time to rest. He was surrounded by family in his final moments.

Marcos is survived by his wife Mary Pena, son Jeremiah Garcia, daughter Dehnali Pena, daughter Jaylenn Garcia, daughter Natalie Garcia, daughter Alizeh Pena, daughter Valerie Pena, daughter Anabel Pena, daughter Aaliyah Pena, father Ignacio Cantu, mother Anabel Cantu, brother Juan Alaniz and spouse Michaella Alaniz, sister Christina Cantu and spouse Daniel Arevalo, and brother Manuel Cantu.

Visitation will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, 12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089, Friday, November 19, 2021 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with rosary starting at 6:00pm. Funeral mass will be 1:30pm at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 9217 E Avenue L, Houston, TX 77012. The burial will follow at Southpark Cemetery.
