The world lost a loving Mother, Lynne Salinas, on August 30, 2022. Lynne was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on January 27, 1948, to Bernard and Cynthia Arrow. Our loving mother departed this life to join her beloved husband, Guadalupe "Lupe" Salinas, Jr., in heaven.

Her family moved all around the United States, throughout her formative years. She eventually settled down in Houston, TX, where she graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Arts with a focus of English. After graduating with her degree, she began her career as an administrator for several NASA contractors, including Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and offices in Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory "NBL." She enjoyed puzzles, reading and watching true crime stories. She also enjoyed watching musicals, which she shared with her daughters. Lynne loved to travel. In the early years of her marriage, she planned many family vacations to famous destinations like Yellowstone and Disney World. She started taking cruises with her husband to destinations in Alaska, Caribbean, Europe, Central America, South America and Hawaii. She loved to immerse herself in the culture of the places she traveled to. She was loved and we will miss her dearly. We know our Mom and Dad are happily cruising together in heaven.

She is preceded in death by her dear parents, Cynthia and Bernard Arrow, grandfathers, Herman Zahn, Abraham Arenofsky and grandmothers Rose Zahn and Sarah Arenofsky. She is survived by her sisters Andrea Kopstein and Eileen Arrow. Lynne is also survived by her daughters Tamara Salinas, Diane Mann-Salinas, Julie Salinas, Tracy Rose Salinas, Heather Salinas, her 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at Peevey Funeral Home, Friday, September 2, 2022, at 4:00pm.
