Lynda Karen Masterson (Knight), loving wife, mother, and "Wynna", passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 72.

Lynda was born on April 15, 1952, in Bastrop, Louisiana, the 7th of 8 children. In 1965, the Knight family moved to Pasadena, Texas. She spent many years as a respiratory therapist in hospitals around the Houston area. In 1988 she married her husband, Dudley Masterson, and started building their life in Deer Park, Texas. After retiring she enjoyed spending time with her daughter Nerissa and her husband Phillip, and her two grandsons Blake and Clayton. An avid lover of the outdoors, she told many stories of spending time in her favorite place, Canyon Lake. Listening to music, windows down, hair blowing in the wind out of her t-top trans-am, with an innertube tied to the roof.

Lynda is survived by her husband, Dudley Masterson, daughter Nerissa Sandlin and husband Phillip, grandsons Blake and Clayton, sister Carol Livingston, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Exie Rudolph and Willie Edna Knight, sisters Martha June Knight and Dorothy Brubaker, brothers Michael Knight, David Knight, Rudy Knight, and Billy Knight.

The family would like to thank the Memorial Hermann hospital group, the Advantage Hospice team, and all the friends and family that have supported us during this difficult time.

She will be missed immensely but her memory lives on in our hearts forever.

The service honoring Lynda's life will be held at 1:30pm, Thursday, January 2, 2025, at First Baptist Church Pasadena, 7500 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas.
